What we do...

We offer friendship and practical help to all we visit, without regard to faith, ethnicity, status or sexual orientation. As we visit people in their homes we have strict safeguarding policies and procedures and all visiting members must hold a DBS certificate.

Families in Need

There are families within our local parish community in desparate need. Food, clothing ,household furniture and equipment can sometimes make a huge difference. Will you help our families in need?

Asylum Seekers

Members of our local parish community would like nothing more than to be allowed to work full time, in doing so contributing to society  building up the common good of all in this country.
Please help us to save these brave young Mothers of great courage. Give what you can , and encourage your families, friends and work colleagues to do the same.

Helping the Homeless

Many of our team members are astonished at to discover today's reality; that we have within our community people who are struggling to find accommodation and others who are at risk of being homeless. Will you help? Support the homeless.

Single Parents

Life can be very difficult for parents who are juggling work whilst trying to care for their children. Will you help support those within our community who most need our help?

The Elderly

Older people within our communities can often literally be forgotten.  Many pensioners, and older people struggle to socialise and when family members are not local or available some of these people really do have a difficult time.  

Feeding the Hungry

So many people within our local community are struggling to purchase basic food supplies. These individuals are often closer than you think. Help us to reach our and make a difference to those who need us most.  

Support Our Parish Church

St Peter's Parish Church is one of the oldest churches in Cardiff. From here we are able to offer our SVP services. The church is in constant need of maintenance which involves: Roof repairs, heating, and other areas which enable the building to be safe for both visitors and our mission.
